A nine-year-old Loch Lomond single malt, distilled on 12 September 2013 and bottled in spring 2023 as an exclusive cask edition for Austria, with Vienna Distribution. It matured in a refill American oak hogshead, then spent six to twelve months in a first fill Rivesaltes hogshead. Rivesaltes is a sweet French wine made from Muscat grapes. The outturn was 281 bottles.
Nose and palate share notes of homemade strawberry jam, vanilla and oak spice, candied orange peel and silky golden syrup. With time, ground ginger and honeyed raisins appear, and the finish carries a warming oak spice.
