Loch Lomond Steam & Fire is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in bourbon casks and then finished in heavily toasted, re-charred American oak.
The finish in toasted oak brings baking spices and a firm oak character alongside vibrant fruit. The bottling reflects the distillery's own distillation methods and its experimental approach to casks.
The nose is ripe peach, grilled pineapple, vanilla custard and honey. On the palate it is silky, with caramel, baked apple, cinnamon and dark toffee. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, oak spice and caramelised fruit.
