Logan De Luxe is a 12-year-old blended whisky in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV.
Its sweetness comes from American oak ex-bourbon casks, while sherry adds ripe red fruit. A touch of Lagavulin in the blend brings gentle smoke.
The nose is robust at first, then opens to caramel, toffee, biscuit and vanilla, with plums, raisins, leather, old wood and elegant peat smoke. The palate is silky and oily, with grain sweetness, brown sugar, malt, dried fruit and light pepper. The finish is medium to long, sweet and slightly peppery, with green apple, liquorice and dry oak.
