This is a Longrow distilled in 1974 and matured for 16 years in a sherry hogshead. It was bottled as a single cask in 1990 for Lanz Ingold, at 46% in a 75cl bottle, with no colouring added and no chill-filtration.
Longrow is the heavily peated malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, first made there in 1973, and this bottling is among the earliest official Longrow releases. Its character is described as fruity sweetness with smoke.
