A 26 year old peated Longrow bottled for the Springbank Society in 2025, from a distillation of 1998. Only 485 bottles were filled, at a cask strength of 56.1% abv and in natural colour.
The whisky spent 23 years in refill Oloroso butts, then three more in fresh Pedro Ximenez hogsheads.
Tasting notes describe deep, ripe sherry, tobacco, leather and very dark dried fruit such as plums, with subtle, well-integrated smoke. On the palate smoke is more pronounced, with sweet, heavy forest honey and a long, sweet finish led by sherry, with syrupy notes.
