This is a 5 year old Longrow made for the 2026 Open Day of the Campbeltown Malts Festival. It is a Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky, matured in bourbon and Chardonnay casks and bottled at 59.2% ABV in a 35cl bottle.
Longrow is the peated counterpart to Springbank. Its distillation method takes well to the influence of the cask, and here the bourbon and Chardonnay maturation has served a young spirit well. The result surprised those who tasted it.
