Longrow – Peated Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky 18 Year Old Batch 21/132 (46%)

Longrow 18 Year Old is a peated Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 46% as Batch 21/132. This 2021 edition is a vatting of ex-sherry casks (30%), ex-bourbon casks (60%) and ex-Chardonnay casks (10%). It is a limited release, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. On the nose, strawberries macerated in rum sit alongside a delicate peat smoke, with pineapple, mango and lemon sorbet. The palate is sweet and smoky at once, like toasted marshmallows, with sea-salt chocolate, raisins, plums and treacle. The finish brings peated malt, liquorice and coastal notes.
