Longrow Peated is a heavily peated single malt from Campbeltown, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is very creamy, with vanilla custard first. The smoke builds gradually rather than overpowering the rest, and toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruits appear over time.
The palate is rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint, and the smoke washes over it in waves. The finish is long, with a gentle smoke that lingers.
