This is a single cask Glenrothes bottled at 61.5% ABV. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023, maturing in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask.
The cask added a round, chocolatey sweetness to the fruity character known from the distillery.
The nose offers juicy cherries, red apples, honey with vanilla and creamy caramel, gradually moving into nougat. The palate starts fruity, followed by sweet, creamy Pedro Ximenez notes and a hint of oak. The finish is long and well balanced.
