Lost Lantern Single Cask #2 Cedar Ridge Iowa Straight Bourbon (75cl, 60.4%)

This is an Iowa straight bourbon from Cedar Ridge Distillery in Swisher, hand-selected as a single cask by Lost Lantern. It was distilled and aged in Swisher and is three years old, in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at natural cask strength, 60.4% (120.7 proof), without chill filtering and with no colour added. The cask yielded 213 bottles. Cedar Ridge is a family-owned distillery, and the whisky comes from a state that grows more corn than any other in the country. Its seasonal temperature swings are said to give a soft, clean but spicy character.
