Luxardo Aperitivo is an Italian bitter aperitif introduced in 2013 by the Luxardo family. It is positioned as a lighter, more accessible alternative to heavier Italian bitters, at 11% ABV. The flavour is mildly bitter, with sweet orange forward and gentian and rhubarb providing structure. It is suited to spritzes, lemonade or prosecco cocktails. Luxardo was founded in 1821 in Zara and relocated to Torreglia near Padua in 1947. It is presented in a 750ml bottle.
