M&H Elements Sherry Cask is a single malt matured in casks that previously held Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry. The sherry was made in Spain specially for the distillery, and the casks were seasoned there for one year before being brought back to be filled with new-make spirit.
It is described as the first and only kosher single malt in the world aged in sherry casks.
The nose is led by rich red fruit, with gentle oak, caramel and a note of lemon. The palate is medium bodied, with light sherry sweetness, rich fruit, dark chocolate and soft oak. The finish is long, with dark chocolate lingering before tobacco and oak.
