Mac Na Mara is a Scotch blended whisky made from a blend of malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 40%. The name means Son of the Sea in Gaelic. The nose offers honey, vanilla and ripe fruit with a faint touch of iodine. The palate is silky, with salted butter caramel, baked apple and soft spices over malted cereal notes. The finish is of moderate length, with warm oak and a fresh saline note.
