Mac-Talla Mara Islay Cask Strength (70cl, 58.2%)

Mac-Talla Mara is a young, smoky Islay single malt from an unnamed distillery, bottled in a small batch by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers at a cask strength of 58.2%. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in bourbon casks and bottled without colouring or chill filtration. Its colour is pale gold. The nose is intense bonfire smoke with hints of citrus zest. The palate brings smoked barbecue meat and charred oak, followed by a long, powerful and smoky finish.
