This is an Islay single malt from the Mac-Talla Terra range, sourced and bottled by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, the former owners of Bowmore. It is made up of ex-bourbon casks of fairly young, smoky Islay malt, bottled at 46% ABV without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers citrus, smoky barley and fresh sea air. On the palate there is clean woodsmoke and salty sea spray, and the finish stays clean and smoky.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
