This Macallan 10 Year Old dates from the early 2000s and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in Macallan's small copper pot stills and aged for a minimum of 10 years exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The nose combines dried fruits, vanilla and warm spices with delicate floral notes, oak and light butterscotch. The palate is medium-bodied and sweet with sherry, with raisins, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and honey over subtle oak tannins. The finish is warm and lingering, with gentle spice, dried fruit and oak, ending slightly drying.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
