The Macallan Anecdotes of Ages is a whisky and art collaboration with the British pop artist Sir Peter Blake, the third in a partnership of almost four decades. The collection is made up of 13 whiskies from 1967, the year Blake's collage style moved from the art world into pop culture. This bottle is one of 322 worldwide, at 46.7%. Each label carries its own original collage, drawing on the history, community and landscape of The Macallan Estate. The colour is caramelised peach. The nose has antique oak, dried fruit and figs, with pineapple and mango. The palate is warm chocolate milk with nutmeg and ginger, turning to pineapple and coconut. The finish is medium to long, with chocolate, sweet oak and lightly spiced peach.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
