The Macallan Estate is a single malt released in 2019, described as the spirit of the Macallan estate and intended as a tribute to the land around the distillery. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Part of the barley comes from the Easter Elchies Estate itself. The distillery runs on this barley for only one week each year.
The character is warming and complex, with soft spice, hints of oak, dried raisins and figs. Orange and citrus follow, balancing the fruit, and the finish is medium in length and slightly fresh.
