Macallan 18 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt from the 2025 edition, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is matured for a minimum of 18 years in sherry casks of European and American oak from Jerez.
The colour comes from the casks alone, with no added colouring, and the whisky is not chill-filtered.
The nose is rich, with dried fruit, raisins, orange peel and vanilla, plus ginger and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, dried fruit, spices and nuts, and a little smokiness. The finish is long and warming, with sherry sweetness, spice and a dry close.
