Macallan 18 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt, here in its 2026 edition. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured for a minimum of 18 years in sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez. Only first-fill casks are used, seasoned with Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry. The spirit is distilled twice in Macallan's small copper stills.
The nose is of dried fruits, ginger and walnuts, with hints of orange and dark chocolate. Sweet dates, ginger, dark chocolate, dried figs, cinnamon and cloves come through on the palate. The finish is long and warm, with sherry-spiced oak, dark chocolate and gentle spice.
