Macallan – A Night on Earth III Jerez 2024 (70cl, 43%)

A Night on Earth III Jerez is the third release in The Macallan's A Night on Earth series, made for the distillery's 200th anniversary. The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team created it from European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, inspired by New Year's Eve in Jerez de la Frontera, known as Nochevieja. It is a seasonal collaboration with the illustrator Erica Dorn, whose abstract artwork on the packaging draws on New Year fire rituals. The nose offers honeyed pastry, raisin, cinnamon, aniseed, oak and citrus. The palate brings sweet pastry, white grapes, glazed almonds, vanilla, spice and rosemary, and the finish is sweet, lively and warming.
