Macallan – Distil Your World: The Paris Edition (70cl, 47.2%)

The Macallan Distil Your World: The Paris Edition is a limited single malt from Speyside, created by Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca. It is bottled at 47.2%. The whisky is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak, sherry-seasoned American oak and cognac casks, chosen with Parisian flavours and food traditions in mind. The nose offers sandalwood and gentle spices, with buttery hints of baguette and brioche. The palate is rich with sherry sweetness, warm spices, buttery pastry and a touch of cognac. The finish is long, with lingering spice and a balance of sweetness and dryness.
