This is a 35 year old Highland single malt from Macallan-Glenlivet, distilled in 1938 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle, and the colour is full amber. The nose is fresh and floral, with fruit salad including melon, ripe apricots, several kinds of honey and a little eucalyptus, moving on to apricot jam and natural vanilla. On the palate there is tobacco, banana skin, orange marmalade and tangerine, then a resinous note with ginger and cinnamon. The finish is not extremely long, with apricot, a little pine resin and mint.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
