Macallan Rare Cask 2020 is a single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It is vatted from sherry-seasoned oak casks that the Whisky Mastery Team selected by hand, and it keeps its natural deep mahogany-red colour, with no colouring added.
The nose combines soft vanilla and rich raisins with fresh apple, lemon and orange. Raisin sweetness leads the palate, followed by vanilla, dark chocolate and a little light citrus zest. The finish is long, rich and velvety, with lingering notes.
