Macallan Reflexion is a Speyside single malt from the 1824 Masters Series, in a decanter and a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. This is the 2019 version.
It was matured mainly in first-fill American and European oak casks that had been seasoned with sherry. The distillery distils in small copper stills, and the spirit is overseen by its Master Whisky Maker.
The nose brings vanilla, raisin, apple and citrus, with boiled sweets and orange zest. On the palate there are dried fruits, ginger, cinnamon, chocolate and orange, with light toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, spice and polished oak.
