Macallan Sir Peter Blake Anecdotes of Ages is a Speyside single malt from a collection made with the British pop artist Sir Peter Blake. It is bottled at 47.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Blake's artistic vision was applied to both the choice of whisky and the bottle design. The whisky is aged in European and American oak casks that were previously seasoned with sherry.
The nose has rich dried fruit and aromatic spices, with vanilla, orange zest and gentle wood smoke. The palate brings raisins, figs and dark chocolate with cinnamon and ginger. The finish is long and warming, with sweet dried fruit, spice and oak.
