Macallan – The Harmony Collection Amber Meadow (70cl)

A Speyside single malt from Macallan, released as part of The Harmony Collection and presented in a 70cl bottle. The collection draws on nature and sustainability, and this edition takes its inspiration from the scent of summer wildflowers and ripening grain. The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned casks of European and American oak, which give it a warm amber colour. The box is made from natural materials including recycled grass and agricultural by-products. The nose is floral, with chamomile, clover blossom and honey, plus soft vanilla and freshly cut grass. On the palate it is light and smooth, with creamy honey, pear, vanilla and a little citrus, then soft spice and oak. The finish is long and fresh, floral and fruity.
