Rich Cacao is a Macallan single malt and the first release in The Harmony Collection. It was created with the chocolatier Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca in Spain, and matured in sherry-seasoned casks of European and American oak. The box is made from leftover cacao husks. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings dark chocolate, raisins, dates and cinnamon, with roasted hazelnuts and vanilla. The palate is silky, with cocoa, figs, mocha and a little orange peel. The finish is long, with pure chocolate and spice.
