Macallan Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak is a Speyside single malt released in 2024 as part of a series on sustainable practices and natural materials. This edition focuses on the relationship between whisky and oak.
It matured in a selection of European and American oak casks that previously held sherry, and is bottled at 44.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is described as fresh citrus, vanilla, orchard fruit, ginger and light oak spice. The palate brings orange zest, honey and creamy vanilla with cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted oak. The finish is medium to long, with sweet spices, dried fruit and gentle oak.
