Macallan – The Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak

Vibrant Oak is a single malt from Macallan's Harmony Collection, a series that focuses on natural ingredients and sustainability. The whisky was matured in a combination of European oak Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks, and its warm amber colour comes entirely from the wood. The nose offers vanilla, honey and butterscotch with ripe peach, orange zest and a little raisin, then toast, cocoa and light smoke. On the palate it is full and silky, with dried fruit, honeycomb, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, plus vanilla and coconut. The finish is long, with dried fruit, cocoa and warm wood.
