Macduff – 12 Year Old 2007 Single Cask Collection (70cl, 47%)

This is a 12 year old Scottish single malt from Macduff, part of the Single Cask Collection and carrying the year 2007. It is bottled at 47% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is neither coloured nor filtered, and it is reduced to drinking strength at 47%. The nose offers grain, banana, mango and light fruit. On the palate banana returns alongside muesli, malt, vanilla and a little biscuit. The finish is medium in length and sweet, with slightly more caramel than the palate suggests.
