A 1997 single malt from Macduff in the Highlands, bottled by Murray McDavid at 47.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Macduff stands on the River Deveron opposite Banff and was founded in 1962. Its water comes from the Gelly spring. The distillery's own whisky is called Deveron, so Macduff appears by name only on independent bottlings such as this one.
The distillery belongs to Bacardi.
