This is a Highlands single malt from Macduff, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Signatory at 46%. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Macduff distillery was founded in 1962 on the opposite bank of the River Deveron from Banff, and its water comes from the Gelly spring. The distillery's own whisky is called Deveron, so the Macduff name appears only on independent bottlings such as this one. The distillery belongs to Bacardi.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
