This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macduff, distilled in 2011 and matured in oak casks. It is bottled by Signatory Vintage at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV.
The bottling is described as fruity, with orchard fruit, warming spice and rich malt, and a firm structure from the higher strength.
On the nose there is green apple, vanilla cream, honey, toasted oak and citrus zest. The palate brings rich malt, caramel, poached pears, baking spices, oak char and hints of dark chocolate. The finish is long, warming and spicy, with lingering sweetness, oak and gentle pepper.
