This is a 15 year old single malt from Macduff, the Highland distillery also known for its Glen Deveron bottlings. It was distilled in 1999 and bottled from a single refill hogshead by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular series, at 41.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The cask gave 230 bottles.
Old Particular malts are bottled straight from the cask without chill filtration or added colour. Macduff itself stands on the banks of the River Deveron, in the fishing port of the same name beside the Moray Firth.
