MacNair's Lum Reek is a 10 year old blended malt, here in its first batch, bottled at 55.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines Speyside and Islay single malts, including aged GlenAllachie.
The whisky was matured at The GlenAllachie Distillery in Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks. It has a rich bronze colour and a sweet, subtly smoky character.
The nose brings smoke, heather honey and ginger with cinnamon, treacle and vanilla. The palate has dark chocolate, ginger and citrus, with smoked spices, plantains and tannins.
