MacPhail's 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It has no added colouring. The distillery behind it is not named, and the casks are chosen by Gordon & MacPhail.
The nose has stewed fruit, vanilla and a fine, lightly spiced note. The palate is soft and balanced, with red apple and Seville orange, mild sweetness, gentle malt and some freshness. The finish is smooth and rounded, with hints of milk chocolate and lightly toasted oak.
