Maker's Mark 46 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 47% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is finished with ten seared French oak staves, which gives a richer, spicier character than the original Maker's Mark. It is non-chill filtered and a permanent part of the range.
On the nose there is toffee, vanilla bean and toasted wood. The palate brings caramelised sugar, dark spice and baking chocolate, and the finish is long, warm and dry, with baking spice and subtle French oak.
