Maker's Mark is a handmade Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% ABV in a large 1.75 litre bottle. The mash is made from corn, malted barley and red winter wheat.
On the nose it shows bourbon spice, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and malt. The palate follows with caramel, vanilla and bourbon spice, joined by orchard fruits and a little citrus.
The finish is long and dry, with corn, caramel and oak.
