Maker's Mark – Maker's 46 Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (75cl)

Maker's 46 Cask Strength is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at barrel proof and is non-chill-filtered, with strength running from 108 to 114 proof depending on the barrels. It starts as fully matured Maker's Mark, taken from the barrel. Seared French oak staves are then added to the barrel and the bourbon is finished a little longer in a cool ageing cellar, which brings more oak, caramel, vanilla and spice. The nose is big with oak, vanilla and smoky charcoal. The palate is richer, with spice, vanilla and smoke. The finish is longer on the front of the tongue, with no roughness or bitterness.
