Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength is a limited edition Kentucky bourbon in a 75cl bottle. It was the first line extension to the Maker's Mark range since the 1950s.
It starts as fully matured Maker's Mark taken straight from the barrel. Seared French oak staves are then added to the barrel and the bourbon is aged a little longer, only during winter, when bourbon matures more slowly. This gives a bolder, more complex whisky than the standard expression, with added spice.
