Manly Spirits Coastal Stone Nor'easter (50cl, 46%)

Nor'easter is an Australian single malt from Manly Spirits Co, part of its Signature Series and bottled under the Coastal Stone name at 46% in a 50cl bottle. It is distilled on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The name comes from the prevailing summer breeze along the Sydney coast. The new make spirit was matured in both Australian ex-wine barrels, with Barossa barrels featured here, and classic American and French oak. The nose is stone fruit, with white peach, apricot and nectarine, alongside golden apples, spring flowers and chocolate. The palate is creamy, with pear, chocolate and five spice, and the finish is long, smooth and nutty, with dried stone fruits and fine tannins.
