Mars Tsunuki – Peated Single Malt Japanese Whisky

Mars Tsunuki Peated Single Malt is the second single malt release from the newly reopened Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Japan. It has a subtle peatiness. Water from Mt. Kurata, soft and delicate yet heavy, is used at the distillery and is reflected in the mouthfeel. Peated honey on the nose gives way to crisp green apple, fresh mint and buttered banana on the palate. The finish is long, sweet and smoky, with yellow fruit.
