Mc Peat Single Malt, House of McCallum

Mc Peat is a single malt bottled by House of McCallum, made as a nod to the peated whiskies of Islay. It is intended as a powerful, smoky dram. The nose is smoky, with peat, iodine, seaweed and salt, medicinal hints of camphor and menthol, and black pepper and lemon zest. The palate is rich and oily, with peat smoke, salt and spice, and notes of leather, tobacco and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with smoke, spice, a light bitterness and iodine.
