McPeat Lagaland is a 10 year old Islay whisky bottled by House of McCallum. It was distilled on 30 March 2010, matured in American bourbon barrels and bottled in 2020 as a limited edition of 700 bottles.
The release marks the 700th anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath, regarded as Scotland's declaration of independence.
It is described with notes of wet summer tar and smoked bacon, seaweed and iodine, plenty of spice, and salty chocolate with vanilla cream.
