Meikle Toir The Sherry One is a 5 year old peated Speyside single malt, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and signed by Billy Walker on the bottle.
The spirit is made with mainland peat from St. Fergus, giving a phenol level of 35 PPM. A fermentation of 160 hours produces a fruit-forward new make, which is then aged in sherry oak.
The nose brings cedarwood, cigar box, butterscotch and mocha, with orange peel, honey and plum jam. The palate has dark chocolate, smoked honey and mocha, with figs, treacle, burnt sugar and puffs of peat smoke.
