The Turbo is a peated Speyside single malt from Meikle Toir, here in its 2025 release at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from the spirit cut with the highest phenol content, the 'heart of the heart' of the distillate, and reaches 72 PPM.
The release combines five American virgin oak casks with four Oloroso hogsheads.
The nose is typically described as Manuka honey, toasted caramel and smoked cedarwood, with butterscotch, treacle tart and spiced orange peel. The palate brings heather honey, roasted hazelnuts and baking spices, then ginger, mocha, molasses, smouldering oak, dark chocolate and plum jam.
