A red Merlot IGT from Berto&Fiorella, presented in a 5-litre bag-in-box. It is intended as an everyday drinking wine. The nose shows mainly fruity aromas, with ripe red fruit and light spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a balanced structure that makes it easy to drink. It suits everyday dishes such as ragù pasta, cured meats, white meats, light grilled meats and semi-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 °C; a short aeration can help the aromas open, though it is not essential. Store the container in a cool place away from light; once opened, the bag-in-box format helps keep the wine stable for several days.
