Michel Couvreur Blossoming Auld Sherried Over 16 Years Old Pedro Ximénez Cask – July 2026 Magnum (1.5L, 48%)

A single malt from Michel Couvreur, bottled in July 2026 at 48% in a 1.5 litre magnum. The whisky is over 16 years old and was matured in a very old Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. The cask gives it a traditional sherried character, with dark dried fruit, sweet sherry notes and a pronounced spiciness. The house works from Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy, maturing Scottish malt in sherry casks. On the nose it is described as showing dark fruits and raisins.
