A single malt from Michel Couvreur, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This new batch is stronger than earlier releases, which were bottled at 45%.
The distillate comes from Scotland and matured for 15 to 20 years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks in the rock cellars at Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy. The casks bring dried fruit, toffee and spice, with a rounded, creamy structure.
The nose is sweet, with raisins and prunes.
